Facilities of the Hall

Greenodd Village Hall is located at the entrance to the village.  It has two rooms that are independent of each other.  The halls can be booked together or separately.  There is disabled access to the hall from the street and once inside the hall  it has disabled toilet facilities in both rooms.  Both halls are accessed through the main entrance as is the communal kitchen.

The Small Hall

The smaller hall is carpeted and makes a comfortable atmosphere for meetings and smaller group events. Seating capacity for this room is 40.

The larger hall has a sprung wooden dance floor and stage and is also equipped with a hearing loop. This hall is used for dances, whist drives, indoor bowling, a quilting group, line dancing, exercise classes, music events, meetings and coffee mornings to name a few. It has two sets of lights – large  overhead fluorescent and softer wall lights, and both work independently of each other.  There is a bar located in this hall which is licensed if you wish alcohol to be served at your event.  The maximum seating in the hall is 140, and we have smaller square tables or 4ft long tables available depending on your needs.

Please see the galleries page for other photos of the hall, both in use and as used for special occasions.

Unfortunately due to high insurance costs we do not allow bouncy castles in the hall.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen is shared between the two halls and is also accessed from the main entrance to the hall. It has a two sinks, a fridge, microwave and a domestic cooker.  There is a wall mounted water boiler as well as several kettles.  The kitchen is also equipped with large and small plates, bowls, cups and saucers and cutlery.
